Step into the bold, colorful world of Pop Art in this immersive studio experience designed for young creators. Throughout the semester, students will explore one of the most influential art movements of the 20th century, drawing inspiration from iconic artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, and Yayoi Kusama.
Using a variety of mediums and techniques, children will create vibrant works of art while learning about the history, style, and cultural impact of Pop Art. From printmaking and mixed media to bold patterns, graphic design, and larger-than-life compositions, each project encourages students to experiment with color, repetition, and creative expression.
Each class will go from the week of September 14th until the week of December 18th. We offer pickup from PS84 and PS132 everyday at 2:30pm. The classes run from 4-5pm, with pickup at 5pm. We also offer extended days until 6pm at an additional cost.
