Discover the art of clay in this elevated enrichment experience led by master potter Devon. Inspired by the atmosphere of a professional ceramics studio, children will learn authentic pottery techniques while creating beautiful, functional, and expressive works of art.
Throughout the session, students will explore hand-building methods such as pinching, coiling, sculpting, carving, and glazing, transforming simple clay into one-of-a-kind pieces they'll treasure. Along the way, they'll strengthen fine motor skills, spatial awareness, patience, and creative confidence through thoughtful, process-focused projects.
Each class will go from the week of September 14th until the week of December 18th. We offer pickup from PS84 and PS132 everyday at 2:30pm. The classes run from 4-5pm, with pickup at 5pm. We also offer extended days until 6pm at an additional cost.
